Bob and Casey Corman- Father and Son climb together, racked up 5,486 meters and tons of fun. With their friends, Neal Herman, Paul Woodard, Steve Bursley, Bob and Casey of Walnut Creek, CA, did their quarter Everest ride on Mount Eden. They had friends throughout the challenge show up and ride a few climbs to support and cheer them on.
4 friends all connected through riding and then my son who is an ultra runner and will be teaming up with me this year on a 2 person team at the 24 Hour World Championships in Borrego Springs, CA. Neal and I are neighbors and good friends and riding buddies. We met Paul on one of our informal Saturday rides and Steve at the Furnace Creek 508. Because of Covid we all hadn’t ridden together in over a year. I don’t think we had seen Paul in a couple of years! Bob said that a highlight was "seeing my son smoke the climb time after time - just so strong and is honestly mostly a runner up to this point - and all of us doing this for such a great cause".
The father-son team will again test their endurance chops as a two person team at the 24 Hour World Championships in Borrego Springs, CA. Great job Bob, Casey, and crew!
